||Ann resents her younger sister Myrt, whose dancing ability helps make her a star under the name "Jessica." Ann starts to impersonate Myrt around their hometown; she even fools wealthy Roland, who is in love with Myrt. However, Ann discovers she doesn't like the phony world of theatrical hangers-on, and confesses everything to Roland, who hits her. Ann drops her masquerade and returns to her own life, happier now. She also discovers Myrt has married the real Roland, and the man she had been dating was another impostor.
