||Monica and Joel work in the same department store, as a salesclerk and window dresser respectively, but are not acquainted. They coincidentally both book passage on a holiday cruise in hopes of finding a rich spouse. On the ship, Monica and Joel are each courted by wealthy people, named Harold and Catherine respectively, but fall in love with each other until they discover they’re both poor. They break up and decide to marry their rich suitors, but at the last minute realize it’s better to marry for love. Catherine and Harold also form a couple.
